!Its Finally Over!

Ok. So it's technically not finally over. You are probably really confused. I have just ended 8th grade. 8th grade has been my hardest school year by far. I thought I could handle all the many activities I took on. I was in leadership, battle of the books, karate, track, chores, and supposed to be my first priority, SCHOOL. I kept falling behind, and behind, and behind. I was one of those kids that people thought got straight A'S all the time. That was not the case through middle school. But those are totally different stories. In 8th grade I would always procrastinate when it came to school work. That’s because school had always come easy to me and I never had any homework. 8th grade was harder than I thought. I never imagined having homework every night. One of the best ways that kept me focus while making up missing assignments was listening to music. Supposedly scientific studies show that classical music helps you study. For me that is not true. One of my favorite christian albums is called “Ready To Fly” by Jamie grace. I love all the songs on the album and I totally recommend listening to them. I needed to get all my priorities straight and praying really helped me. During school whenever I felt stressed out or I needed help with an issue I would just silently pray whenever I needed it, and that would help me get through a school day. I shed many tears my 8th grade year and I am glad its all over. I was always swamped with loads of responsibilities because I took on too much. High School is definitely going to be more challenging but I am very thankful that we have summers. A time to take a second to breathe and relax. For now it is over, but school will come again.
